Clarence C. Baldwin, 72, a resident of Schuylerville passed away peacefully Friday, March 31, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 4, 1944 in Granville, NY to the late Perry and Elizabeth Baldwin.
He retired from the S&T Papermill, where he worked for many years. He was very outgoing and loving person. He was fond of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He loved taking care of his grandson Travis who also lived with him for many years. Clarence was married to the love of his life Sheila Cole Baldwin for over 52 years. He loved all sports especially coaching little league for many years and playing baseball with his grandchildren. His favorite sports teams were the New York Yankees and New York Giants.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Perry (Sonny) Baldwin and John Baldwin.
He is survived by his wife Sheila Cole Baldwin; daughters Sheri (Rodney) Hughes of Greenwich and Kelly Baldwin of Greenwich; grandkids Travis Holcomb, Jake and Emily Hughes, Paige and Destiny McKernon; several grandkids; great-great-grandkids; brothers Robert Baldwin and Leslie Baldwin; sister Mary Baldwin.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
