Louise D. Lindahl, 84, a resident of Pulp Mill Lane, Greenwich, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at The Pines in Glens Falls.
Born April 1, 1933 in Saratoga Springs, NY she was the daughter of the late Frederick Thompson and Louise Ostrander Larmon.
Louise was a graduate of Schuylerville Central School where she participated in cheerleading, sports, and music. She was active with the Avant Garde Drum and Bugle Corp, the Adirondack Red Wing Booster Club, the Schuylerville School Booster Club, and was an avid Schuylerville High School sports fan. She also enjoyed doing arts and crafts.
She had been employed at the Glens Falls Insurance Co., Schuylerville Central School and the Schuylerville Branch of Glens Falls National Bank.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-father, Sheldon Larmon and her sister, Carol Drew.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Malcolm Lindahl of Greenwich; her children, Laurie (Mark) Wells of Schuylerville, Kristi (Chris) Irish of Greenwich, and Jeffrey Lindahl of Greenwich; grandchildren, Jennifer Brown, Mikayla Wells, Jacob and Joshua Lindahl; great grandchildren, Courtney and Cassidy Arlington, Adrianna Bronzene, and Dominick Notro; brother-in-law, Joseph Drew; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 6pm Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville with Rev. Joyce deVelder, officiating. Spring burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-6pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
