Lori Ives Cook, 65 was welcomed into the loving arms of the Lord on Saturday February 24, 2018 at the Washington Center in Argyle NY.
Born December 31, 1952 in Troy, she was the daughter of George Ives and Anne (Herring) Ives.
Lori graduated from Greenwich Central School in 1970, and graduated from North Hampton Junior College in 1972. Lori had a long history of struggling with a disability, but she still enjoyed fashion, music and loved her family. Her family loved and advocated for her for over 40 years. Once you made your way into her heart, she could not forget you, and she had a lot of support along her journey. But, her best memories were always of her younger years in Greenwich.
Survivors include her siblings, Kimberly Dixson of Greenwich, Daryl Ives of Queensbury, Trina Derby of Greenwich, Christa Burns of Scituate, MA; twelve nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 Saturday March 3, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich, with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating.
Burial will be in the spring at Greenwich Cemetery in Greenwich.
