Obituary of Ryan P. Rossley

Ryan P. Rossley, 27, a resident of Jefferson St., died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Albany Medical Center as the result of an auto accident in Saratoga Springs. Born March 7, 1983 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of Stephen and Maureen Cronin Rossley of Saratoga Springs. Ryan was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School where he played soccer and lacrosse and SUNY Oneonta where he was a member of the lacrosse team. He moved to Raleigh, NC after college and worked in the construction business before moving back to Saratoga Springs to be near his family and the Adirondacks where he enjoyed all outdoor activities. He was a member of St. Therese’s Chapel in Gansevoort and was a member of ADK. He was currently employed as a building contractor with Mike Hayes Construction in Schuylerville and was in the process of going on to graduate school to become a teacher. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, John Cronin and his paternal grandparents, William and Irene Rossley. Survivors in addition to his parents include 2 brothers, Jason (Danielle) Rossley of Glens Falls, Sean Rossley of Saratoga Springs; 1 sister, Kelly Rossley of Saratoga Springs; maternal grandmother, Doris Cronin of Saratoga Springs; paternal grandmother, Constance Rossley of Daytona, FL; 2 nephews, John and Aiden Rossley; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am Monday, March 22, 2010 at St. Clements Church, Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Burial will be in the Brant Lake Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 3-7pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville.
