Obituary of Kenneth L. Jordan

Kenneth L. Jordan, 52, a resident of Mosquito Swamp Road, Town of Argyle, and formerly of Hartsville, SC died unexpectedly due to a tragic accident on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Ken was born in Lee County, SC and was a graduate of Hartsville High School, Coker College Drama School and Millie Lewis Modeling Agency. After his career in acting and modeling, Ken went on to further his career as an aspiring gospel singer and song writer. He was currently working as a TSP teacher at BOCES, Hudson Falls. Ken loved working on his farm, he was an avid gardner and loved spending time with his children and his horses. Ken touched the lives of all who knew him. Ken was a loving husband, father and brother, leaving behind his wife, Grace Stephan Jordan, a daughter Patricia N. Jordan and a son Joshua C. Jordan, all at home. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters; Sara Stokes, Eldridge M. (Mildred) Jordan, Blanche (Brodus) Kelley, Joe (Bonnie) Jordan and Dot (Randy) Johnson all of Hartsville, SC., also Emmie Sue (Bobby) Baird of Camden, SC, William (Barbara) Jordan of Cassatt, SC, and Howard (Jane) Jordan of Bishopville, SC.; his in-laws, Louis and Gladys Stephan of Greenwich; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Eldridge N. and Mary Sue Jordan, a sister Patricia Lear, and a brother Eldridge N. Jordan Jr. A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM Friday April 30, 2010 at the River Church, 235 Green Barn Road, Hudson Falls, with Pastor Jason LaPierre officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich, NY. All are invited to a reception after the burial. Friends may call on Thursday, April 29 from 5 to 8 PM at the River Church. Memorials may be made to a fund for the Jordan children at Glens Falls National Bank, c/o Grace Jordan, 132 Main St., Greenwich, NY 12834. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich.
