Obituary of Theresa L. Pechette

Theresa L. Pechette, 58, a resident of King Rd., passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Albany Medical Center. Born June 20, 1956 in Schenectady, NY she was the daughter of Louis "Bunny" Surprenant of Schroon Lake, NY and Jean (Sonny) Horn of Ballston Spa. Theresa met her husband of 39 years, David Pechette in 1973. Together they started their family, including son Joshua (Patience) Pechette in 1977 and daughter Shawna (Adam) Sawicki in 1983, later adding granddaughter Ashley and grandson Noah. In the early 1980's she began to persue her passion for music and floral design. Her interests included Bluegrass music and crafting. Her greatest enjoyment came from bringing family and friends together for any occasion and also for helping others. She is also survived by 3 brothers, Mickey Surprenant, Ronnie Surprenant, Jason Horn; 1 sister, Tina List; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 4-7pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 am Friday at Notre Dame Cemetery in Schuylerville with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating.
