Obituary of Joseph A. Seney

Joseph A. Seney II, 54, of Schuylerville NY passed away December 5, 2014 after a long extended illness. He was born April 23, 1960 at Saratoga Hospital, the son of the late Joseph and Charlotte Seney. Joseph was a strong, hard-working man who loved to be in the garage and always put family first. He started Schuyler Repair which is still being run by his sons. Joseph enjoyed family gatherings, being with his grandchildren, working, inventing projects, pig farming, and fourwheeling. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Noreen Seney Generous; grandparents, Joseph and Agnes Seney, and his uncle, David Duval. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Wendy L. Seney; sons Jason (Jill) Seney of Schuylerville and Joseph M. Seney II of Schuylerville; daughter Jennifer Seney (Tyler) of Greenwich; grandchildren, Kora Smith, Kiera Seney, Jason "George" Seney, Carson "Henry" Wolf, Skylar "Rosie" Seney; sisters, Cathleen (Richard) Zwijacz, Mary (Bill) Vogel, Ginger (Joey) Zwijacz all of Wilton; a special aunt, Maureen Duval of Saratoga Springs; several nieces and nephews, as well as best friends, Ralph Woodcock of Gansevoort and Donnie Deyoe of Queensbury; and two special canine companions, Sadie and Buddy. Friends may call on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 4-6pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, NY. A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
