Obituary of Toni A. Sullivan

Toni Sullivan passed away suddenly on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the age of 56. She was surrounded by family whom she cherished and who cherished her in return. Toni worked for over 20 years as a Speech Pathologist in the Schuylerville School District where she positively affected the lives of many students. She was passionate and dedicated to her work, frequently staying after hours to tutor and to serve as an advocate for her students. She is predeceased by her mother Pauline "Babe" Zoppo. Survivors include her dedicated husband, James; her three loving children, Andrew, Brianne, and Colin; her father, Anthony Zoppo; her brothers, Richie (Gail), Ronald (Valerie), and Gary; her sister, Regina (Robert) Scillitoe; several nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful and caring wife and mother who adored her family above all else. She will be deeply missed and always loved and remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations can be contributed to a scholarship in memory of Toni Sullivan, or to a charity of your choice. Checks for the scholarship can be made payable to: Toni Sullivan Memorial Scholarship Fund, and sent to Schuylerville Central School, c/o Melissa Germain, 14 Spring St., Schuylerville, NY 12871. A funeral mass will be held at 10am Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Notre Dame-Visitation Church, 18 Pearl St., Schuylerville, with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating.
