Obituary of Beverly Holmes

Beverly J. Holmes, 84, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 29, 2014 at her home on Windy Hill Road. Born December 7, 1930 in Charlton, NY, she was the daughter of Raymond and Lillian Wagner Goman. Beverly was a member of the Schuylerville United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband John Holmes in 2008, and grandson, Ryan Patrick Murphy in 1987. Survivors include her children; Gerald Holmes of Greenwich, Loren (Beth) Holmes of Nebraska and Brenda (Patrick) Murphy of Florida; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; her brother Raymond Goman of Greenwich and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Nellie Beth Dumas. A memorial service will be held at 1pm Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Schuylerville United Methodist Church. There will be no calling hours. Spring burial will be in Greenwich Cemetery.
