Obituary of Jacqueline S. Gray

Jacqueline S. Gray, 84, passed away peacefully Thursday January 15, 2015 at Washington Center, Argyle, NY. Jacqueline was born on December 7, 1930 in Greenwich, NY and was the daughter of the late Kenneth M. and Reba D. (Towns) Sheffield. She was predeceased by her first husband, Edwin L. Albrecht of Saratoga Springs, and her second husband Clifford Gray of Shushan. She graduated from Salem Washington Academy, Salem, NY in 1948 and attended Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in Troy and graduated in 1951 as a Registered Nurse. Jacqueline was employed by the Albany VA Hospital and later at Mary McClellan Hospital, in Cambridge, for many years. She spent her retirement for many years in Shushan, and Greenwich. Jacqueline enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her son, Donald Albrecht of Greenwich; and his wife Linda, and grandchildren Rachel, Claire and Christopher; and her son David Albrecht of Salem; and his wife, Loretta, and grandson Nicholas. She is also survived by a brother and three sisters, Kenneth Sheffield (Rosemary), of East Greenwich; Gail Phillips (Ed), of Salem; Barbara Barber (Jack), of Salem; and Carol Rich, of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews. At the request of the family funeral services will be private.
