Obituary of John D. Brownell

John D. Brownell, 67, a resident of Victory Mills, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Saratoga Hospital after a brief illness. Born June 2, 1947 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late Irving and Beatrice Cope Brownell. Mr. Brownell was an avid outdoorsman. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 1 sister, Winifred Bryant. Survivors include 2 sisters, Lois Cheney of Schuylerville and Carol (Martin) Myers of Greenwich; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave. Ext., Schuylerville, with Rev. Virginia Cornell, officiating. Spring burial will be in the Bacon Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 10-11am prior to the service at the funeral home.
