Obituary of Marie D. Grimes

Marie Grimes, 42, passed away suddenly, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Saratoga Hospital. Born March 9, 1972 in Schenectady, NY she was the daughter of Diana Chesbrough of Greenwich, and the late Herbert Chesbrough of Saratoga Springs. Marie was a loving wife and a great mother. She was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors, especially jogging, hiking and bicycling with her family. She enjoyed reading, and her favorite dog Becky. Marie was very content working on the family farm alongside her husband and son. Survivors include her loving husband of 15 years , Andrew Grimes of Greenwich; one son, Philip Grimes of Greenwich; her mother , Diana Chesbrough of Greenwich; one sister, Jennifer (Daniel) O'Connor of Greenwich; nieces Taylor and Maggie O'Connor of Greenwich; and mother-in-law, Kay Grimes of Greenwich. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834. Friends may share a brief memory of Marie at the service.
