Obituary of Stephen J. Rossley

Stephen J. Rossley, 65, a resident of West Lane, Saratoga Springs, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 surrounded by his family and close friends. Born April 25, 1949 in Malone, NY he was the son of the late William and Irene Richards Rossley. Mr. Rossley was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and the College of St. Rose. He was a Business Teacher at Schuylerville Central School for over 30 years. He had been a Track Coach, German Track Exchange Co-Ordinator, a New York State Soccer Referee, and a Property Manager. He was a true outdoorsman, avid hunter and fisherman, and an Adirondack Guide. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Ryan Rossley in 2010. Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Maureen Cronin Rossley of Saratoga Springs; 2 sons, Jason Rossley (Danielle) of Glens Falls, and their children, John and Aiden, and Sean Rossley of Saratoga Springs; 1 daughter, Kelly Rossley Talbot (Matt) of Saratoga Springs; brother, Richard Rossley of Stony Creek; step-mother, Constance Rossley of Daytona, FL; mother-in-law, Doris Cronin of Saratoga Springs; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Clements Church, Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Spring burial will be in the Brant Lake Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorials can be made in his memory to Friends of Schuyler Park, PO Box 69, Schuyleville, NY 12871.
