Obituary of Jacobe Skyler Taras

On Monday April 13th 2015 the spirit of our beloved Jacobe Skyler Taras soared with the angels to meet his fellow brothers and sisters. Jacobe was born September 18th 2001 in Glens Falls NY and brought great joy and laughter to the lives of his parents, Richard & Christine Taras. He was a character from the start, from the crinkle of his nose to the wild splashing in the tub- he was a joy to behold and love. As he grew to discover the great outdoors, his life began to take on more meaning while giving us all a glimpse of his beautiful soul. He had a passion for camping, fishing, photography hunting, trap and especially his trains. His smile and effervescent personality touched everyone he met! His mother and fathers souls are forever grateful for his time here with us! With Love, Hugs and Kisses we share him with the heavens. We are unconditionally grateful for all of the family and friends that made him feel special and enhanced our life experiences. A special thanks to his paternal grandparents Albert and Janice Weils of Victory Mills NY, Bob & Jane Hallum of Stillwater NY, maternal grandparents Paul & Helen Eddy of Greenfield. Also to his sister and her husband Jaime and Carmelo Franco of Wilton and his closest friend and nephew Zachary Snyder. There are so many other relatives precious to us all that I would need several pages to acknowledge them all personally. A special acknowledgement and thank you goes out to our extended family at Boy Scout Troop 99 of South Glens Falls whose moral support is beyond compare. They helped shape Jacobe on his journey of growing into a fine young man who loved and shared unconditionally! Funeral services will be held at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, NY on Monday April 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM and are limited to close family and friends due to space. There are no public calling hours. A celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion after the services. We graciously accept your support and condolences. Donations in his memory can be made to: Moreau Community Center Children's Summer Program, 144 Main St., South Glens Falls, NY 12803; Tri-county United way, 696 Upper Glen St. #2, Queensbury, NY 12804; or Operation Adopt a Soldier Inc., 4281 Route 50, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
