Obituary of Marie O. Lambert

Marie O. Lambert, 91, a former resident of Van Ness Ave. Greenwich went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2015. Born February 5, 1924 in New York City, she was the daughter of Mary and Henry Oths. Marie married the love of her life, Robert R. Lambert in 1954. Marie's main dedication was loving and caring for her husband and five children. She was employed by WSWHE BOCES for many years and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Greenwich. She was also a member of the American Legion Aux., the VFW Aux., and the Elks Aux., all of Greenwich. Marie enjoyed many past times including travel, stamp collecting and jigsaw puzzles. Marie's passion was enjoying all of her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert R. Lambert, a daughter Melissa Ellen Lambert, and her son-in-law Kenneth L. Peregrim. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Melinda Peregrim; her sons; Mal Lambert and his wife Diana, Lyman Lambert and his wife Laura and Warren Lambert and his wife Arvadia; Her grandchildren, Lynn Marie James, Amanda Grimes, Rebecca Lambert, Robert Lambert, Steven Lambert, Lauren Lambert, Connor Lambert, Ivry Lambert, Gina Lambert and Kate Lambert; and great grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Carmen, Anna Marie, Shain, Brandon, Brantley, Camden, Tristan, Silas and Marissa. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
