Obituary of Diane M. Mosso

Diane M. Mosso, 74, a resident of Academy St., passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born May 27, 1941 in Troy, NY she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Eggers Dempsey. Mrs. Mosso was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, member of the Catholic Daughters, the Emergency Relief Committee, Food Pantry, and was a life time member of the VFW Post #7291 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Mosso in 2013; 1 son, Frank Mosso; 3 brothers, Robert, Ivan and Richard Dempsey; and 1 sister, Carol Demetros. Survivors include her children, Louise (George) Beck of Greenwich, Jennifer Myers of Greenwich, Thomas (Suzanne) Mosso of Charlotte, NC, Bo Mosso of Cambridge, Andree' (John Mound) Johnson of Moreau, and daughter-in-law, Marcia Mosso of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, James Jordan Jr., Brandy Jamieson, Adam Beck, Cara and Miranda Mosso, Ashley and Brad Myers, Shyanne Genre, Jamie and TJ Mosso, Skyler, Sage, and Shaedon Mosso, Tres and Amber Johnson; several great grandchildren; 1 brother, Murray Dempsey; 3 sisters, Virginia Carlo, Veronica (Hank) Miller, and Joann (John) Evers; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30am Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at St. Joseph's Church in Greenwich with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Burial will follow at 12:30pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Friends may call on Monday from 6-8pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich.
