Obituary of William J. Brady Jr.

William J. Brady Jr., 71, passed away at home Monday, September 7, 2015 surrounded by his family. Born June 1, 1944 in Corinth, NY he was the son of the late William and Lena Mae Brady Sr. William worked at Stevens and Thompson Paper Company for 22 years. After his retirement, he enjoyed riding his scooter and operating Tigers Bait Shop. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, George Brady and his wife Vena; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Marion Brown. Survivors include his wife of 43 wonderful years, Marion M. Brady of Cossayuna; his son, William Brady IV (Brandy) of Argyle, daughter, Heidi Vecere (Scott) of Corinth, and son, Donald Brady (Dawn) of Argyle; 9 grandchildren, John Scott III, Makenzie Brady, Kendra Brady, Hailey Vecere, William Brady V, Hannah Brady, Daphne Vecere, Victoria Brady, and Xander Vecere; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, September 11, 2015 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich with Pastor Kenneth Green, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Schuylerville. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made in his name to the Argyle Rescue Squad, 15 Sheridan St., Argyle, NY 12809.
