Obituary of Helen F. Andrew

Helen F. Harrington Andrew, 69, a resident of Abeel Ave. in Greenwich and Bennington Health and Rehab Center in Bennington, VT, passed away peacefully with family at her bedside, Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Bennington Health and Rehab Center in Bennington, VT. Born January 18, 1946 in Greenwich, NY she was the daughter of the late Louis and Monica Huffman Harrington. Helen married John "Jobbie" Andrew May 5, 1962. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, loved Teddy Bears, Boy Scouting, camping, baking and Bingo. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, John "Jobbie" Andrew in 2013; her sisters, Marie Chadwick and Anna Mastrangelo, both of Greenwich. Survivors include her loving sister, Peg Sweet of Bennington, VT; 2 sons, John (Ruth) Andrew of Greenwich and Richard (Elana) Andrew of Salem; daughter, Louise (Tony) Periard of Granville; grandchildren, Joseph Andrew of Saratoga Springs, Kora Lee Andrew of Shushan, Monica Colegrove of Cambridge and John Colegrove of Granville; 2 great granddaughters, Emma Colgrove and Lily Andrew; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Burial will follow in the North Cambridge ( Stump) Cemetery.
