Obituary of Benjamin R. Palmateer

Benjamin R. Palmateer, 54, a resident of Easton, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Albany Medical Center with his wife Paula by his side. Born March 29, 1961 in Galway, NY, he was the son of the late Edgar and Helen (Morey) Palmateer. Benjamin enjoyed living a simple life, having bonfires, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, William Palmateer. Survivors include his loving wife, Paula (Horton) Palmateer of Easton; daughters, Jean Palmateer of Ballston Spa, and Alicia Palmateer of Schuylerville; son, Benjamin Jr. of Florida, NY; two grandchildren; five sisters, Louanna LeClair of Galway, Candace McMann of Loris, SC, Cheri Manasseri of Galway, Maureen Palmateer of Saratoga Springs, and Raquel Barthelmes of Columbia, KY; two brothers, Edgar Jr. and Maurey Palmateer both of Galway.
