Obituary of Elizabeth (Lisa) Wilson

Elizabeth (Lisa) Wilson, 52 a lifelong resident of Easton, passed away peacefully Monday, April 11, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital, surrounded by her loving family after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born November, 17, 1963 in Queens NY, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Christina Somma. Elizabeth enjoyed scrapbooking, watching movies and attending country music concerts especially Toby Keith. She graduated from Greenwich Central High School in 1981 and married the love of her life, Thomas, in 1986. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter sister, aunt and friend that always put others needs before her own. The world has lost a great woman and heaven has gained an amazing angel. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son Adam J. Wilson and her husband, Thomas M. Wilson. Survivors include her children; Joshua Wilson of Easton, Caleb Wilson of Easton; siblings; Tracy (James) Raulerson of Homestead, FL, Andrew (Deborah) Somma of Carlisle, PA, Liane Somma of Easton, NY, Jeffrey (Lisa) Somma of Clermont, FL, Mary-Ann (Howie) Schmitt of Greenwich, NY, Amy (Chris Gilcris) Telford of Salem, NY, Christopher (Jacqueline) Somma of San Diego, CA and Patricia Somma of Shippensburg, PA and her beloved Chihuahua Cleo. A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1 Gray Avenue, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with the Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating. Family and friends may call on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4 to 7 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834. Donations in Elizabeth’s name may be made to a trust fund for Caleb Wilson, set up at Glens Falls National Bank c/o Mary-Ann Schmitt.
