Obituary of Lorena B. Hall

Lorena B. Hall, 98, a former resident of Victory Mills, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at Washington Center in Argyle. Born January 21, 1918 in Smithville, NY she was the daughter of the late Peter and Alphonsine Periard Barton. Mrs. Hall had worked for several years at United Board & Carton in Victory Mills. She was a communicant of Notre Dame-Visitation Church in Schuylerville and was a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Hall; her brother, Urban Barton; and sisters, Orea Stewart, Dola Hall, Veronica Adams, Shirley Aiardo, and Doris Chiperno. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Notre Dame-Visitation Church in Schuylerville with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorials can be made in her memory to the General Schuyler Emergency Squad, PO Box 111, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
