Obituary of George L. Duval

George L. Duval, 70, a resident of Elizabeth Lane, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his family. Born August 23, 1945 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late George and Helen Rivett Duval. Mr. Duval was a US Navy Veteran and had served in the Vietnam War. He then served with the Army National Guard for 18 years. He retired from Saratoga Hospital where he worked in the X-Ray Department for 42 years. George enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling with his family. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Terry Jones Duval of Schuylerville; his children, Jeffrey (Jeannie) Duval of Branford, CT and Jennifer Clark of Schuylerville; 5 grandchildren, Hunter and Trey Duval, Nicholas and Colby Clark, and Khloe Harder; 2 sisters, Diane Baldwin of Saratoga Springs and Eleanor Stevens of Wilton; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10am Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville.
