Obituary of Margaret E. Waite

Margaret E. Waite, 93, a resident of Cynthia Meadows passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 24, 1923 in East Greenwich, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Irma (Kane) Waite. Margaret worked at Greenwich Garment until it closed and then went to work as a CNA at Pleasant Valley Infirmary in Argyle. After her retirement, she went to work at McDonalds in Greenwich until the age of 89. She was predeceased by 8 brothers, Frank, Irwin, James, Stanley, Francis, Alfred, Charles, and Roger; and one sister, Elizabeth McComb. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Dawn and Jim Phillips; her extended family, Amy and Tim Branan, Witney and Jeremy Boyce, Ashlynne Branan; special friends, Theresa Corcoran, Sandra Bain, Jane Monroe, Nesi Fronhofer; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at 1pm Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with Rev. Debbie Earthrowl, officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 11-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Donations in Margaret’s name may be made to Glens Falls Hospital Comfort Care.
