Obituary of Jane E. Herrington

Jane Buckley Herrington 87, a resident of Bell Road, Schaghticoke, passed away peacefully Monday, August 29, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born July 19, 1929 in Hoosick Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Matilda Buckley. Jane along with her husband Bob operated Robe-Jan Farm in Schaghticoke, from 1957 until his death in 2009. She was a trustee on the board of the Easton Rural Cemetery and was a longtime member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Johnsonville. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert R. Herrington and daughter Judy. She is survived by her children; Doug (Deb)Herrington of Lansingburg, Janet (Don Marpe) Gaitor of Schaghticoke, and Lee Herrington of Schaghticoke; son-in-law Terry Hoag of Hoosick Falls; sister Annabelle Bott of Easton, 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Christ United Methodist Church, 22 Bridge St, Johnsonville, NY,12094 with the Rev. Dr. Camillus Mourice officiating. Family and friends may call from 9-11 am prior to the service. Interment will be in the Easton Rural Cemetery immediately following the service.
