Obituary of Eva Dawn Hydock Anderson

Eva Dawn Hydock Anderson, 76, a resident of Bristol, CT and formerly of Schuylerville, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. Born June 2, 1940 in Cambridge, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Eva Seney Cromie. Dawn was employed as an outside consultant by JE Sawyer and Sons in Glens Falls and had numerous personal and professional accomplishments. She enjoyed singing in the choir, playing piano, baking, gardening and most importantly spending time with her family. She was a joy to be around, and loved by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Robert J. Hydock Sr,; brother, William Cromie; and sister, Sharon Durkin. Survivors include her husband, Richard O. Anderson; children, Robert J. (Rosie) Hydock Jr., James E. (Peggy) Hydock, Edward G. (Lynn) Hydock, Dawn E. (Kevin) Pecorelli, and Glenn S. (Barbara) Hydock; her sister, Lois Miner; grandchildren, Ashley M. and Marissa L. Pecorelli, Kimberly A. and Alyssabeth K. Hydock, Tanya and Cassandra Castonguay, Denisse Leal, James and Jordan Acker; great grandchildren, Joshua and Hannah Duperry; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at St. Joseph's Church, Hill St., Greenwich, NY with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Schuylerville. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5-7pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuyleville, NY 12871. Memorials may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110.
