Obituary of Shirley Burch

Shirley Burch, 80, a resident of Greenwich, passed away peacefully Monday, October 3, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born June 21, 1936 in Sandgate, VT, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Margaret Saari. In her younger years Shirley enjoyed spending her time gardening. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren Richard and Brittany and was a diehard New York Yankees fan. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence J. Burch in 1998; sisters Alice Carman and Pat Jones; brothers Matthew and Donald Saari. Survivors include her son Richard Burch; grandchildren Richard Burch Jr. and Brittany Burch; daughter-in-law Amy Baker; sisters Carol Brown, Linda Desantes, Bonnie Dancher, Sharon Delgrasso, Nancy Messier and Kathy Hallock; brother Jerry Saari; several nieces and nephews.
