Obituary of Vivian Pratt Wilbur

Vivian Pratt Wilbur, 89, a resident of Bald Mountain, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born November 13, 1927 in Moreau, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Susie Sweet Pratt. She was a member of the Fort Miller Reformed Church and the Vereengheit Circle where she served as the floral coordinator for over 35 years. Vivian was present on the family farm for over 70 years, after her marriage to her husband Foster Wilbur. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Foster Wilbur; daughter Connie Hamilton; son-in-law Frederick Corscadden; longtime friend Olean Hay; 5 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her children; David P. (Alice) Wilbur of Bald Mountain, Gayle Corscadden of Greenwich; grandchildren Billy (Tammy) Wilbur, Patti (Dan DeWolfe) Kupiec; great grandsons, Alex Ellsworth, Jason Foster Wilbur, and Austin Kupiec; great granddaughter Jennifer Wilbur; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with the Rev. Virginia Cornell officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the Gansevoort cemetery. Family and friends may call from 1:30 to 2:30 pm prior to the service.
