Being a “Cat Lover” she became friends with Dr. Elmmers Gordon Jr. and Tammy at the Fort Edward Animal Hospital. She enjoyed visiting the hospital and bringing the staff coffee. She stayed close with her co-workers from the Gideon Putnam Hotel and would look forward to being treated to dinner each year around her birthday by her friends; Sean, Becky and Barb. She made numerous friends while she worked at the Gideon which included meeting some famous people; Robert Redford, Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft, she struck up a special friendship with Ralph Wilson traveling numerous times to the Ralph Wilson Stadium to watch the Buffalo Bills play in Mr. Wilson’s private suite stadium box. She became an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed trading insults with her friend Joe Bartlett a diehard New England fan. In her later years, she enjoyed decorating her house, working in her garden and visiting with her friend Penny who would stop by and see her.
