We attended church at Fort Miller with Leneta for many years. She was a dear, sweet woman. A wonderful example of what Christs love working through us all should look like. What a surprise when we found out that she was Rons Grandmothers cousin! A great privilege to be distantly "related" to such a wonderful woman. We are so very sorry for your loss, but Heavens gain.

Kim & family,
I am very sad to learn of your moms passing. Such great times & wonderful childhood memories will be forever remembered. Your family was blessed to have her as your matriarch, as we were to have had her as our den mother.
May God's healing hands hold you during this most difficult time.

This is a picture I snapped of Grandma in a family home video at Christmas time getting ready to read God's word. One of her favorite things to do.

I can't thank everyone enough for their kind words about my grandmother. It is amazing to see how many lives she touched here on earth. I know without a doubt she is with Jesus. Thank you everyone...especially my Uncle Kim and aunt Elaine for being there every step of the way with her leading up to her last moments. I have some of the strongest family members , we are always there for each other. Please keep sharing your memories of her...that is what will always keep her alive in our hearts and minds. God bless you all

Grandma...words cannot describe how much I miss you. It's been 7 years since I've seen you and now it will be much longer till we are reunited in heaven with our Lord and Saviour. I'm trying to be strong as you were and rejoice in knowing you are with Jesus but we are human and want our loved ones here forever. You and grandpa gave us some of the best memories as kids. I will forever hold them in my heart. Some of my favorites include: our trip to Boston and almost losing my camera, our trip to Plattsburgh to see Evy at college when you kept passing gas causing Melissa and I to jump behind the bed and yell "hit the deck", you taking me school shopping, our many family bbqs, apple picking and riding in the back of grandpas truck, our awesome trip to Maine, and most of all...Christmas!! The goodie bags, the amazing dinner, the family laughs, the reading of the Bible, and of course the cookies...the many, many cookies! Your love for us grandkids was evident in everything you did. You always made sure your family was taken care of. I only wish I had been there to take care of you when you needed it most. I will be forever grateful for everything you did and the memories you gave us. Till we meet again Grandma...I love you, always have, always will. xoxo

I worked with Leneta at Oneida Markets in Schuylerville from 1962 to 1963. She was a kind, caring, fun-loving, and community-minded lady who took great pride in her work, her family, her church, and her country. We managed to stay in touch over the years by phone, letters, and occasional visits. I will never forget all the laughs we shared, as Leneta had a great sense of humor. I appreciated her no-nonsense approach, her strong will, her honesty, her dedication to God, friends, and family, and her ability to take in stride anything life handed her. I will always consider her my friend, and will always miss her. My sincere condolences to her family, her many friends, and former neighbors of the village of Schuylerville.

My heart aches after this loss, I took special care of Leneta for two years while she was at Wesley Health Center. To me Leneta was more than just another resident, she was family. I was known as her Ollie instead of Allie which I am called at work. I have met all three of her sons and had long conversations with Leneta about them. She will forever be in my heart. May she Rest In Peace!
