Obituary of Patricia Anne Ruthosky

Patricia A. Ruthosky, 75, a former resident of Greenwich passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Glens Falls, after a courageous battle with cancer

She was born April 28, 1942 in Mechanicville, NY to the late Robert and Nettie Stewart.

Patricia enjoyed reading books especially word find books, she also enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, horse shows and murder mysteries.  Family meant everything to her, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren especially pestering her son-in-law Leon.  Patricia was the Buffalo Bills biggest fan she loved watching them on TV every Sunday. 

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert “Joe Pete” Ruthosky and son Patrick Ruthosky; grandsons Michael and Steven Ruthosky and Todd Briggs; son-in-law John Briggs and brother James Stewart.

She is survived by her loving children; Darlene Allen of Saratoga Springs, Vicky Briggs of Argyle, Nonna Smith of Glens Falls, Rebecca Ruthosky of Salt and City, CA, Regina Ruthosky of Salt and City, CA, Mary Ruthosky of Glens Falls, Michael Ruthosky of Easton, John Henry Ruthosky Sr. of Fort Edward, and Robert Ruthosky of Galway; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday, July 10, 2017 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834.  Burial will follow in the Greenwich Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 12-1 prior to the service at the funeral home.
