Obituary of Louise Williams

~~Louise A. Williams, 76, of Monroe, NC (formerly of Argyle, NY) passed away on July 26, 2017 at the McWhorter Hospice House in NC.
Louise was born on Long Island to Adolph and Ester Scholl on March 13, 1941.  She graduated from Sewanhaka High School and completed teaching courses in Occupational Education.  She was a Cosmetology Instructor with BOCES in Hudson Falls for 28 years.  She was an active VICA Advisor and had received a NYS Occupational Teacher of the Year Award.  She also wrote curriculum for the NYS Education Dept.
She was a past member of the Argyle Emergency Squad, a volunteer at a Charlotte Theater, a member of the Guardian Ad Litem Organization, Southern Piedmont Art Guild, and mentor in the Charlotte School System.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Larry Williams; daughter, Kristen Williams; daughter-in-law Julie Hammill; grandchildren, Kalene Mullarney, Shane, Justin and Devin Hammill; and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Penny Citrolo, and her son Richard Hammill.
A Funeral Service will be held at Fort Miller Reformed Church at 11 AM on Friday August 4, 2017 with Rev. Richard Hoffman officiating.  Burial will follow at the Bacon Hill Cemetery located on Stonebridge Rd., north of Schuylerville, NY.
Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Flynn Bros. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, NY.
Memorial donations may be made to Argyle Emergency Squad, Union County EMS of Monroe, the Diabetes Foundation, or the Bacon Hill Reformed Church.
