Obituary of Sarah J. Bouchard

Sarah J. Bouchard, 91, a former resident of Cemetery Rd., died Friday, January 1, 2010 at Saratoga Hospital. Born August 7, 1918 in Stillwater, NY she was the daughter of the late Martin and Julia Farnan Langdon. Mrs. Bouchard owned and operated the West End Market in Cambridge and the Lishakill Market in Schenectady for many years. She was a communicant of Notre Dame-Visitation Church in Schuylerville and was a member of the Old Saratoga Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband Alcide Bouchard and brothers, Edward and John Langdon. Survivors include 3 sons, Paul of Eagle Bridge, Bernard of Argyle, and Thomas of Albany; 2 daughters, Patricia Berry of Schuylerville and Nancy Sherwood of Schenectady; 1 brother, Frank Langdon of Saratoga Springs; 1 sister, Kathryn Yarter of Saratoga Springs; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, January 5, 2009 at Notre Dame-Visitation Church with the Rev. Martin Fisher officiating. Spring Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Schuylerville. Friends may call on Tuesday at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville from 9-10am prior to the mass.
