Alejandrina Santiago Obituary (1930 - 2011)

Alejandrina Santiago, 81, a resident of Route 32S, died Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Glens Falls Hospital. Born June 6, 1930 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Isidoro and Felipa Santiago. Mrs. Santiago was a licensed insurance broker in Puerto Rico for many years. She moved to the Schuylerville area in 1998. She was a member of the New Covenant Church in Greenwich and enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Angel A. Santana and her daughter, Maria D. Curry. Survivors include her children, Luis A. (Christina) Santana of TX, Sylvia (Lynn) Malinoski of Schuylerville, Marisol (Gilberto) Cruz of Puerto Rico, Maribel (Ronald) Throop of IN, and son-in-law Robert Curry of SC; grandchildren, Steven (Julie) Curry, Jon Michael (Rebecca) Curry, Austin Troy Santana, Suzette Santana and Mathew Malinoski of Schuylerville, Javier (Xiomara) Garcia, Josue Garcia, Jeselle Garcia, and Cristina Throop; and great grandchildren, Adam, Logan,Robbi,and Sami Curry, Isabel Elizabeth Santana, and Jaelis Caballero.
