George M. Arnold Jr. Obituary (1947

~~George Matthew Arnold Jr. died unexpectedly July 8, 2017. He was born June 25, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY, and relocated with his wife Mary to Cossayuna, NY from Long Island in 1987. George loved being outdoors where he created a homestead for his family. He loved to hunt, gardening, and raising chickens. He was a US Marine Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. George loved to sing and was a past member of the Racing City Chorus. He was also a Past Exalted Ruler of the Greenwich Elks Lodge #2223 in Greenwich. George felt it was always important to give back to the community. He was always helping someone. Survivors include is wife of 32 years, Mary M. Gannon Arnold; their sons, Christopher and Andrew; his sons, George III and Patrick; and his daughter, Cynthia; 6 grandchildren, Travis, Trevor, Zachery, Abby, Alisha, and Alina. Services will be held at a later date in Long Island, NY. Memorial donations can be made in his memory to a trust fund set up for his autistic son Andrew Arnold, c/o Glens Falls National Bank, 1153 State Route 29, Greenwich, NY 12834.
