Gregory Patrick Kennedy

Gregory Patrick Kennedy, 49, a resident of Schuylerville, passed away at home on August 17, 2026. He was born on September 30, 1976, to the late Joseph John and Jean (Rayno) Kennedy.

Gregory was a vibrant soul who lived his life with passion, and his energy was as infectious as his laughter. His journey through life was filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories, serving as an inspiration to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Gregory was an avid sports enthusiast, he devoted much of his time following his favorite teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the Boston Red Sox, and he also loved watching tennis matches and wrestling bouts. He looked forward to playing fantasy football every year.

His career in the hospitality industry and as a driver for Dom's Pizza in Stillwater was marked by his dedication and hard work. Gregory was an advocate for people with disabilities, always helping them whenever they needed help. But while Gregory had many interests, one stood out above all others - his love for music. Since the age of 18, Gregory found his calling as the lead vocalist for several heavy metal bands.

His powerful voice resonated with audiences across the world, as he traveled far and wide to share his talent. Even though his fear of birds was well-known among his friends, Gregory was the most significant, lovable animal lover. His adoration for his cats was a testament to his tender heart and compassionate spirit.

Gregory was a beacon of positivity and joy, even during his times of solitude. He was sarcastic, had a giant heart and will be loved and missed by all.

He is survived, by his wife, Ronda Lewis Kennedy; children, Charlotte (Vinny) Maze, Devlin and Paul Maze; sister, Shiela (Michael Smith) Oliver; grandson, Oliver James Maze; nephew, Collyn Smith.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Kennedy.
