Jane H. Harvey

Jane H. Harvey, 89, a resident of Clifton Park, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Born March 9, 1936, in Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen Burdick Hanson.

Jane grew up on her grandparents’ farm in Greenwich and was a graduate of Greenwich High School, and the Albany College of Pharmacy. She worked at Clary’s Pharmacy in Ft. Edward, where she met her husband, James Harvey. They moved to Jacksonville, Florida where James was stationed in the US Navy and then moved back to New York when he was discharged. She worked part time as a pharmacist while raising her 3 children.

She was a member of Capitolers Inc., enjoyed arts and crafts with her husband, and making cards for her friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Harvey in 2015, and her brother David Hanson.

Survivors include her children, Dana (Deb) Harvey, Karin (Tim) Rousselle, and Erik Harvey; her sister, Ann Lyons; 7 grandchildren, Timothy Rousselle Jr., Jordyn Rousselle, Nikolas Harvey, Kyle Harvey, Sarah Harvey, Khloe Harvey, and Kaiden Harvey; 1 great grandson, Steven Schultheis; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY.

Memorials can be made in her name to the American Heart Association or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
