John "Porky" Haley Obituary (2009)

Dateline: Schuylerville John J. âPorkyâ Haley, 69, died unexpectedly Monday, December 21, 2009 at his residence at 2 Morganâs Run. Born January 15, 1940 in Schuylerville, he was the son of A. Patrick Haley and C. Elizabeth (Hall) Haley and had attended Schuylerville Central School. He had been employed for several years by Sulliâs Market in Schuylerville. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepmother, Adeline Irish Haley; brothers, Silas, Robert, Gerald, and Lawrence Haley; and sisters, Alice Miner, Beverly DeNew, and Deanna Knapp. Survivors are 2 sisters, Patricia Morency of Schuylerville and Mary Drew of Victory Mills; a brother, Arthur Patrick Haley of Sandy, Utah; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Services and interment will be in the spring at St. Maryâs Cemetery Schuylerville, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, NY.
