Lionel R. Leduc Obituary (1961 - 2018) - Schuylerville, New York

Lionel R. Leduc, 57, a resident of Hayes Rd., passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Born March 3, 1961 in Malone, NY he was the son of the late J. Rene and Rhea Lefebure Leduc. Lionel was a graduate of Franklin Academy in 1979 and then received an Associate Degree from Hudson Valley Community College. He was employed by Verizon in the Albany area for over 20 years. He was an avid NY Ranger fan and was an accomplished woodworker. Survivors include his love and life partner, Cynthia Dudziak of Schuylerville; 1 daughter, Simone Leduc Smith (Matthew Smith) of Hudson Falls; 1 son, Justin Leduc (Julia "Ali" Sexton-Leduc) of Chattanooga, TN; 2 grandsons, James Leduc and J. Robert Leduc; his siblings, John Leduc (Thomas Ross), Louise Pickreign (Ed), Colette Leduc (Jim Lawrence), and Maurice Leduc; Cynthia's daughters, Kelsey and Kathleen Dudziak; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30am Friday, June 29, 2018 at Notre Dame-Visitation Church in Schuylerville with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating.
