Mary Ellen Cassidy

Mary Ellen Cassidy, beloved sister, and friend, passed away on July 12, 2025, at Albany Medical Center. She was born in Passaic, NJ, on October 8, 1951, to the late John Jay Jr., and Alice (Brett) Sullivan. She resided on Walsh Rd, in Saratoga for the past 40 years, a place she cherished for its natural beauty.

Mary Ellen grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Mount St. Mary's Academy in Newburg. She worked in the real estate business for many years on Long Island and later worked in communications for NYRA, in Belmont, NY. She was the wife of the late Marshall Cassidy II.

Mary Ellen is survived by her cherished siblings, Elizabeth, Robert, and William Sullivan. stepchildren, Marshall III, Christina, and Cynthia.

Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Sullivan, her loving husband, Marshall Cassidy II, and her dear brother, John Jay Sullivan Jr. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to family.

Her burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
