Rae Louise Scribner Obituary (1943

Rae Louise Scribner,72, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born May 21, 1943 in Middletown Springs, VT, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Lois (Fielder) King. Rae was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing. She loved to travel, was a great cook and loved visiting with family and friends. Rae spent her career as a nurse and bookkeeper. She was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother. Survivors include her devoted long time companion of 29 years William Whitcomb; 4 children Karen (John) Nevins of Johnsonville; Lance (Heather) Scribner of Argyle; Celia Scribner of Poultney, VT and Brendan (Deborah) Scribner of White River Junction, VT; 10 grandchildren Shalyn, Emily, Kristine, Brittany, Breana, Ethan, Bryan, Thomas, Riley and Charlie; 3 brothers Joel King, Ira King, and Eric King; 2 sisters Mattie Scott and Inga Hallett; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11am Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Flynn Bros. Inc. 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with the Rev. Sandra Spaulding officiating. There will be no prior visitation.
