Raymond M. Warner Obituary (1935 - 2014)

Raymond M. Warner Sr., 79, a resident of Hayes Rd., passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at his home after a short illness. Born May 31, 1935 in Albany, NY he was the son of the late Floyd and Marie Smith Warner. Mr. Warner was a veteran of the US Coast Guard. He had been employed for 36 years at GE in Waterford. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Marion M. Warner. Survivors include his children, Denise Fortner of Florida, Sherry (Tom) Arnold of Schuylerville; Dale (Tom) Reynolds of Florida, Raymond M. Warner Jr. (Ann) of Schuylerville, Wendy Warner of Florida, Gary Wood of Arizona, Craig (Tina) Wood of Stillwater, Jodi (Glenn) Evans of Gansevoort, and Tina Starks of Mechanicville; 1 brother, Donald Warner of Albany; 1 sister, Donna Smith of Albany; and 15 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 7pm Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, with Rev. Virginia Cornell, officiating. Spring burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-7pm prior to the service.
