Robert W. "Bob" Jeffords

–

Greenwich, New York

Robert W. Jeffords, affectionately known as Bob, strolled into the heavens on April 9, 2026, leaving behind an indelible mark on the hearts of those he loved. Born on July 16, 1949, in Cambridge, New York, to the late Robert and Margaret (Green) Jeffords.

Bob graduated from Greenwich Central School, ACC, and Siena College. He was a dedicated financial planner and owner of Jeffords Associates, meticulously preparing income tax returns for over 50 years. He also owned the Country Peddler alongside his wife, a staple in the Greenwich Community. His career was a testament to his commitment to service and professionalism. However, Bob's life was not all work, as he found joy in the quiet moments of life.

A lover of ice cream and a well-read newspaper, Bob was a quiet observer, a stronghold of strength and a treasure trove of what some might call "useless information". He loved spending summers with his family in the backyard "Flamingo Oasis". His love for travel was only rivaled by his love for his family, with cherished memories made on family camping trips and vacations to Key West and Ocean City Maryland.

As a father and grandfather, Bob always supported his children and grandchildren's sporting events, school activities and accomplishments. Any time they asked him for advice he would always reply "That will be 40 dollars".

As a faithful communicant and former trustee of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bob's faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him and his family through the years. He also served on the Greenwich Town Council, was a Village Trustee and was active in Boy Scouts at a younger age.

Bob leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and quiet wisdom. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Joan (Measeck) Jeffords, and their daughters, Regan Jeffords, Logan Bouchard and her husband Norman Bouchard, and Kendra Kelly and her husband Eric Kelly; 5 grandchildren, Colin Bouchard, Shea Kelly, Nora Kelly, Cooper Bouchard, and Olivia Grove; his brother William Jeffords; brother-in-law, John Measeck; special people in his life Rev. Thomas Konopka, Rev. Martin Fisher, and Dan Grove; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Family and friends may call from 10 am to 11:45 am on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at St. Joseph's Church, Hill St, Greenwich, NY, 12834. His funeral mass will immediately follow at 12 pm.

Donations in Bob's honor may be made to Greenwich NY Food for Kids, 2 Academy Street, Greenwich, NY, 12834, where Bob served as the "Hot Dog Man" for 24 years, or the St. Joseph's Church, or a charity of one's choice.
