Obituary of Gail B. Kittle

Gail B. Kittle, a resident of Spraguetown Rd., died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 following a short illness, with her family by her side. Born June 29, 1932 in Paul Smith’s, NY she was a daughter of Alfred Jay and Lydia Swinyer Beaney. Gail was a graduate of Saranac Lake High School and Ellis Hospital School of Nursing. She was a longtime member of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Schenectady and later Coila Church of Cambridge, NY. She taught Sunday school for many years at both churches and was church historian at the Coila Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, James T. Coyle; 1 daughter, Heather Maria Coyle; and 1 sister, Diane Early. Survivors include her husband, Donald B. Kittle of Greenwich; 3 daughters, Robin (David) Bowman of Rexford, Bronwyn (Chris) Thompson of Glenville, and Hope (John) Meehan of Clifton Park; grandchildren, Matthew and Jonathan Bowman, Alyssa, Dylan, Heather and Ian Thompson, and James and Patrick Meehan; great grandchildren, Tyler, Cole, Emily and Casey. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Monday, December 27, 2010 at the Coila Church, Rte 372, Cambridge, with Rev. George Orleman, officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich. Memorials can be made in her name to the Coila Church, Rte. 372, Cambridge, NY 12816.
