Obituary of Theresa Feenan

Theresa Feenan, 72, a resident of Gray Ave., died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born December 5, 1938 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Mitchell Casey Jr. She was a graduate of Schuylerville Central School and St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing where she received her RN degree. She had been employed at Saratoga Hospital, Glens Falls Hospital, Mary McClellan Hospital and Pleasant Valley Infirmary. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich. Theresa was a wonderful mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Casey and a sister, Marcella Casey. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Feenan Sr. of Greenwich; her children, Thomas Jr., and Martin of Anchorage, Alaska, Timothy and Margaret Rose Feenan of Greenwich; 2 sisters, Margaret Pratt of Victory Mills and Rose Haley of New Smyrna Beach, FL; 3 brothers, Donald Casey of Saratoga Springs, John Casey of California, and Martin Casey of Schuylerville; grandchildren, Brett Hughes, Ashley Craft, Connor, Julie and Mia Nolan; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Amy Craft who was like a daughter to her. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Monday, May 16, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Church, Greenwich with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Burial will follow at 12noon in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich. Memorials can be made to St. Joseph’s Church or the American Cancer Society.
