Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Carr Weber

Mary Elizabeth Carr Weber, 79, a resident of Homestead Rd., died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at her residence after a long illness. Born February 20, 1932 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Earl D. and Gladys M.(Dakota) Carr. Mrs. Weber was a seamstress at the Troy Shirt Guild in Glens Falls for many years, and had also worked at the VanRaalte Mill in Saratoga Springs. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother, Benjamin Carr, her brother, James Earl Carr; and son-in-law, Wayne D. Allen. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Gene E. Weber of Saratoga Springs; 1 daughter, Darlene Allen of Saratoga Springs; 1 son, John E. (Alma) Weber of Saratoga Springs; grandson, Dean (Michelle) Stine; 2 brothers, George (Mary) Carr and Ralph (Beverly) Carr; 7 other grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-5pm Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville. A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
