Obituary of Wayne Dennison Sr.

Wayne W. Dennison Sr., 74, a resident of Schuyler St., died Sunday, September 18, 2011 at his home after a long illness. Born December 17, 1936 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late William and Rosezella Baird Dennison. He was employed at Cushions Stone in Saratoga Springs, Matton Shipyard in Cohoes, and then was a self employed carpenter and had built many houses in the Greenfield and Schuylerville area. He enjoyed fishing,working in his backyard, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson Randy Dennison. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Judith Williams Dennison of Victory Mills; his children Pam (Mark Leonard) Weber of Bennington, VT, William (Penny Rydzynski) Dennison of Greenfield Center, Wayne Dennison Jr. of North Pownal, VT, Marty Millis of Victory Mills, Patricia (Donald) Robertson of Star Lake, NY, Joy (Leland) Peters of North Adams, MA, Ann Millis of Sacramento, CA, Donald (Sue Hanna) Millis of Northumberland, Barb (Tom) Stevens of Saratoga Springs; 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; 1 sister, Beverly Dennison of Greenfield Center; many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the family home 123 Schuyler St., Victory Mills at 1pm. There will be no calling hours. Memorials can be made in his name to the Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center in Saratoga Springs, NY.
