Obituary of Carole Rosen
Born December 13, 1961 in Saratoga Springs, NY she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Donovan Murphy.
Casey was a graduate of Schuylerville Central School, Herkimer Community College, and received her Masters Degree in Business from Excelsior College. She worked previously at Norstar Bank, and then for over 20 years at State Farm in Malta.
She was a member of a Quilting Group at Wesley Health Care Center and was a former Board Member of Rebuilding Together Saratoga. She was most happy when she was working with her hands sewing and quilting, spending time with her family on their boat, and taking in a good Virginia Tech football game.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, David Rosen of Gansevoort; her son, Michael Rosen (Nicole) of Richmond, VA; daughter, Brenna Rosen of NYC; 2 sisters, Joan Root and Mary Jane Stillman (Jeffrey); 2 brothers, Francis Murphy (Casey) and Patrick Murphy (Brenda); as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 10 am Monday, June 11, 2018 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville with Deacon Dan Boyd, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3-6pm at the funeral home.
