Obituary of Winifred Mosher

Winifred N. Mosher, 100, entered eternal life on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Wesley Healthcare Center in Saratoga Springs.

She was born April 2, 1918 in North Greenwich, NY, to the late John and Kate (Conklin) Noon.

Winnie was a graduate of Greenwich Central School and Albany Business College.  She was a lifelong resident of the town of Easton and the village of Greenwich.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was active over the years in 4-H, Home and Farm Bureau, Washington Co. Fair, Senior Citizens, Republican politics, and was the oldest member of St. Joseph’s Church.  She was highly recognized for her culinary abilities.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband John R. Mosher; brother John Noon and sister Janet Bain.

She is survived by her loving children, Judith (Robert) Bennett of Clifton Park, Anita (Philip) Stoddard of Greenwich, Mary (Stephen) Briggs of Turner, ME and David J. (Linda) Mosher of Greenwich; grandchildren Stephen Stoddard of Purcellville, VA, Margo Gershberger of Valatie, NY, Gregory Stoddard of Two Rivers, Alaska, Elizabeth Bullard of Turner, ME, Katherine Teixeira of Keyes, CA, Vivian Briggs of Turner, ME, Eric J. Mosher of Greenwich, Angela Whitehouse of Greenwich, David J. Mosher Jr. of Greenwich, and Mark Mosher of Latham; 17 great grandchildren.

Winnie’s funeral mass will be held at 10am Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Church, Hill St, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with the Rev. Martin Fisher officiating.

She will be laid to rest following mass in the Greenwich Cemetery.

There will be no prior calling hours.
