Obituary of Scott Brockway

Scott Brockway, 56 passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 24, 2018 at his residence in Easton.

He was born December 4, 1961 in Cambridge, NY to John Brockway and Ruth Deyoe.

He was a union worker for many years in the Local 12 based out of Albany.  Scott was an avid fisherman, he loved being on his boat, whether it be on the Hudson River, the Battenkill River or many points in between with his son.  He loved his dog Wanda and his western movies, in his teenage days he was a proud member of the Greenwich Moose Gang.

He was predeceased by his mother Ruth Deyoe and brother John Brockway Jr; sister-in-law Tammy Brockway.

Survivors include his children, Michael and Krystal Sabo; father John “Jack” Brockway of Fort Edward; siblings, Timothy Brockway, Kevin (Carolee) Brockway, Yvonne (Randy) Ball, Heather (Beau) Nygard, Matthew (Brandi) Brockway and Bridgett Cullen; 5 grandchildren.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held from 2-4pm Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the home of Yvonne and Randy Ball, 380 Corinth Rd, Queensbury, NY.

In lieu of flowers family and friends may make donations to an account set up at the Greenwich TD Bank, 106 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834, for Scott’s children to help pay for funeral expenses in the name of Michael Sabo for the E Scott Brockway Special Fund.
