I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Brittany. My very deepest condolences to your family. May I share a comforting thought from the Bible at Revelation 21:4 where it says, “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away“.
This is a promise made by God to all who are suffering today. He said death will be no more and we know this will be true because God cannot lie. We all have the hope that there is going to be a resurrection (Acts 24:15) My prayers for you & all of us who have lost dear ones. With respect may I offer that you might find some strategies to help you cope & to strengthen you at JW.org. Again my deepest sympathies to you in this loss & please know that God is there for you.

Brittany, I’ve had many friends and family pass away on me but yours is one of, if not the hardest I’ve ever been hit with. I can’t thank you enough for all of our late night talks, they really meant so much to me. I think you may have taught me as much as I hopefully taught you about our disease and everything that went along with it. I don’t know what I’ll do at night now when I’m in pain and can’t sleep because it always seemed that we were always up at the same time and not feeling well at the same time. You really meant so much to so many people, probably more than you even thought. I know that if there is life after death and heav and hell that you for sure are in heaven and got your wings the second you got there because here on earth you was definitely a wingless angel. I hope that someday we get to actually meet and if we do the best part will be that neither of us will be in pain anymore. Thank you for being my friend, I’m so very sorry that your years here were cut way too short and know that if I could, I would change places with you so you could keep on helping all the people you’ve helped and the so many more that you could’ve helped. Fly high and fly free Brittany, you’re pain free now and your pancreas can’t hurt you anymore ever again.

Our friendship began in third grade when we were both students at Wood Road. I will always remember the fun we had at my 13th birthday party at Hi-Roc. You always found the good in everyone you met. I will cherish the 19 years that I knew you. We may not have spoken as much after high school, but the times that we did are the moments that matter. You were taken way too soon. You fought the good fight. I miss you already.

Where I really got to know Brittany was when I started working at Malta Ave for Saratoga Bridges. She was doing the overnights. I had never seen someone so young be so loving and work so hard for the folks there. She made quite the impression on me we always kidded that we couldn't work together because we were related but at that time we weren't. The people in that house just loved her. And so did I. Ever since she has been special in my heart. Rest in peace beautiful angel. You will be so missed.a

When Brittany and I worked together at the pharmacy she made a sign that said “Donner” (the name she used call me). Whenever I was grumpy, stressed, or not paying attention to her, she would place it on my desk, hold it up, or tape it someplace for me to see. I would look over at her and she would have this sweet rye smile upon her face.
I just love her...she will be greatly missed.
Hearts are heavy for your loss.
Love and light to you all.
